Organic Certification

Weet-Bix Organic is certified organic with SAI Global. Each of the organic certifying bodies in AU (~ 7 of them) has its own organic standard required for compliance.

We are certified to standard AS6000-9000, the Australian Standard for Organic and Biodynamic products. In 2010 we have switched from a different certifying body, Biological Farmers of Australia (BFA), to SAI Global.

The main driver for this was to bring this certification in with our preferred supplier for certification services. Over time we have been working to bring as many of our programs under the one certifying body to enable us to manage our certifications with greater ease as well as benefit from cost savings.
