Promoting active, confident, healthy kids

Helping our community to enjoy a better life is part of the Sanitarium mission. That’s why statistics on childhood obesity and physical inactivity rates are something we had to respond to.

We own and operate two national events that aim to get more people moving more often.

Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon

Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon™ is the largest kids' triathlon series on the planet. Tours nationally from February to May each year.

Sanitarium Little BIG DASH

Sanitarium Little BIG DASH™ is a wild obstacle adventure where fun, family and fitness collide. Tours to selected capital cities from July to September each year.

Weet-Bix SurfGroms

Sanitarium also sponsors Weet-Bix SurfGroms, a national junior development program that encourages kids to get involved in surfing and stand-up paddle-boarding all around Australia.

These events aren’t about being sporty or winning at all costs. They’re about getting out there and giving it a go, laughing with friends or having fun with family. Above all, they’re about inclusiveness, building self-confidence and instilling a love of physical activity that will last a lifetime.

Did you know?
One hour of moderate to vigorous activity a day is all it takes for Aussie kids (5 to 17 years) to meet the recommended physical activity guidelines.
