Supporting our frontline healthcare workers

We donated product to a number of frontline healthcare workers during the pandemic including 120,000 serves in total of UP&GO, Weet-Bix and So Good to Central Coast Local Health District (NSW), encompassing Wyong, Gosford and Woy Woy Hospitals and Long Jetty Health Care Centre.

A similar donation was made to the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle (NSW) of 2,016 serves of UP&GO. Sally Cogan, Manager of Volunteer Services and Relative Accommodation, said: “On behalf of the staff I would like to say thank you to Sanitarium for the fantastic donation of UP&GO. This product is very much enjoyed and appreciated by staff on the busy frontline, as well as the hardworking staff behind the scenes.”

Our Brisbane Manufacturing team also supplied QEII Jubilee Hospital in Brisbane with a range of Sanitarium products for their emergency department staff. Dr Alison Ryan, Deputy Director for the Emergency Department, explained: “Our staff are really buoyed by this act of generosity. The symbolism is so important for our wellbeing as people who are going to care for the wellbeing of so many of our fellow community members in the weeks and months ahead.”
