Over 120 years Sanitarium’s commitment to improve the health and wellbeing of people and our communities by making truly nourishing food is enduring.  We continue to commit to:

1. Manufacturing and promoting simple, nutritious combinations of wholesome plant-based foods, processed as little as possible but as much as necessary to be safe, acceptable and convenient, so as to nourish body, mind and spirit, and enhance wellbeing.


2. Educating and resourcing consumers, to simplify food choices, to help all experience the enjoyment and benefits of wholesome plant-based foods, and in so doing demonstrate our strong commitment to improving public health.


3. Actively extending the reach of plant-based foods, providing foods suitable for a broad range of eating occasions, together with appropriate usage advice, enabling healthier food choices where nutrient levels have been guided by the Health Star Rating system.


4. Seeking to provide greater access to affordable foods that are safe, nutritious and with broad consumer appeal to help consumers meet their dietary needs and food preferences, so as to sustain an active and healthy life.
